1. Richest Terrorist Group


ISIS is the richest terrorist group in the world. A major part of syria is in the control of this organigation.It recieves its fund through illegal practices thats include smuggling and other unethical practices.A biggest earning source for this organisation is Crude oil well which is in the control of this organisation, if sources are believed ISIS recieves its funding from most of the developing nations most of which are the part of G20 group.

Biggest strength of  ISIS is the number of people. It is believed that more than 50000 person are the part of the army of ISIS. One of the biggest shocking facts is that it recruits person from around the world. Person recruited in the army goes through tough training sessions.Huge number of persons are being recruited from countries like Russia and usa.

3.Destroyed Priceless Historical Sites


Dozens of priceless historical sites have been captured and destroyed by ISIS forces due to the fact that the worship of idols is considered a serious religious sin. These ancient locations are designated as monuments to idols by ISIS leaders, who order the desecration of these historical treasures as a religious duty.
Museums and archaeological sites, some of which date as far back as 3,000 BC, have been looted, bulldozed, drilled and sledgehammered. The destruction includes Hatra, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and Ninevah Museum in Mosul, the second-biggest museum in Iraq.

ISIS captured numerous weapons and vehicles of USA and Iraq army some of its captured weapons and aircrafts are:

Recent supports suggest that captured Syrian MiG-21 fighters are being used in training of ISIS pilots. Training is being headed by former, pre-Iraq invasion pilots who have joined ISIS.

Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23 (Flogger)
The MiG-23 is also mentioned along with the MiG-21 as possibly being used for training of new ISIS pilots.

Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk
The speed of the ISIS conquests against Iraqi forces has meant that some Black Hawk transport helicopters have fallen into enemy hands.

5. Beheading As A Branding Tool


One of the most influential and successful recruiting tools for ISIS have been the series of videos they’re released of different prisoners they’ve executed through beheading, including the first broadcast from Libyan soil, which features the execution of over a dozen Christians from Egypt.

These propaganda videos, which feature well-known figures such as “Jihadi John”, a recruit from London, separate ISIS from other Islamist organizations.  Potential recruits see these videos as evidence of ISIS power and control, along with the organization’s willingness to be completely ruthless in fulfilling their duties as Muslims. At the same time, these videos spread fear among non-fundamentalists, killing two birds with one stone.

6.ISIS On Social Media

 

ISIS conducts their propaganda campaign using all of the latest social media and production techniques, maximizing their ability to reach out to a wide group of potential recruits.Part of ISIS efforts to win the ideological wars involve the Al Hayat Media Center, a professional media company that polishes recruitment videos and other marketing communication. Unlike Al-Qaeda, whose videos resemble a sermon recited into a camcorder, ISIS productions include music, action shots and a story that makes potential recruits feel as if they’re part of a larger struggle.
ISIS also deploys social media experts experienced in using Instagram, Facebook and Twitter to connect with like-minded Islamists who consume online media

7. Big Area Under its Control


As the Syrian civil war raged, ISIS used the struggle to distract the world from their large gains in territory around Northern Iraq and Syria. They managed to capture enough land that they now control territory larger than many legitimate countries.

8. ISIS Mission


ISIS has detailed its goals in its Dabiq magazine, saying it will continue to seize land and take over the entire Earth According to German journalist Jürgen Todenhöfer, who spent ten days embedded with ISIL in Mosul, the view that he kept hearing was that ISIL wants to “conquer the world” and all who do not believe in the group’s interpretation of the Koran will be killed.

9. Countries Fighting Against ISIS


An international coalition of over 30 countries is continuously fighting against ISIS. At least 42 nations have either carried out airstrikes on ISIS.
As part of Operation Inherent Resolve, the US-led coalition whose purpose is to eliminate ISIS, 13 different countries have executed airstrikes on Islamic State militants in Iraq and Syria. The United States and five of its Arab allies - Bahrain, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates - launched the intense campaign of airstrikes and cruise-missile attacks against ISIS in September 2014.

10.ISIS Attacks In Paris


ISIS is again in the lime light, recently it did bomb blasts in paris which left about 150 dead. And said it will continue to do so. In response to this paris government has setpped up its operation against ISIS and its fighter planes are targeting  all the training centers of ISIS.
